Keep The Queen’s Cue guest-ready as a hands-on Maintenance Technician in Stratford, using practical repair and troubleshooting skills across the property.
Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager, this full-time position supports The Queen’s Cue and Boar’s Head Pub during opening and ongoing operations. You will maintain guest rooms, public areas, event spaces, food and beverage outlets, and back-of-house areas. The work includes preventative maintenance, routine repairs, equipment checks, and contractor coordination. Hotel or restaurant experience is an asset, while practical skills and willingness to learn are valued.
Key Responsibilities: Complete walkthroughs across guest rooms and operational areas
Perform preventative maintenance and routine property repairs
Troubleshoot equipment, HVAC controls, appliances, and fixtures




Support event setups, contractor access, and quality checks
Record work orders, inspections, issues, and maintenance activity
Requirements: Experience in maintenance, facilities, building operations, or related environments
Comfort using hand and power tools
Skills in painting, minor plumbing, carpentry, and troubleshooting
Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
Availability for daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
Apply practical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting abilities while helping The Queen’s Cue deliver secure, functional hospitality spaces.
