This permanent Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation position serves the Labrador Region. You will maintain residential units through carpentry, drywall repair, basic plumbing, and minor construction. The work includes preparing vacant units for occupancy and communicating professionally with tenants in occupied homes.
Key Responsibilities: Perform plastering, painting, drywall repair, and general carpentry
Repair or replace doors, windows, flooring, siding, and cabinetry
Complete basic plumbing repairs and identify leaks
Perform interior and exterior repairs using appropriate tools
Estimate materials and labour, maintain records, and communicate with tenants
Requirements: Complete a carpentry, painting, decorating, or renovation technician program
Experience with residential plastering and painting
Experience in residential carpentry, maintenance, or construction
Experience with basic plumbing practices and tools
Hold a valid Class 5 driver's licence
Use residential repair, carpentry, plumbing, and tenant service skills to maintain NL Housing properties across Goose Bay.
