Provide evidence-based nursing care as a Registered Practical Nurse at St. Joseph's HealthCentre in Toronto, working part-time permanently within inter-professional teams.
This RPN position supports holistic, culturally appropriate, patient-centred care for reliable patients with predictable outcomes. You will coordinate care, establish therapeutic relationships, educate patients and families, and consult Registered Nurses as patient conditions change. Practice follows College of Nurses of Ontario standards and Unity Health Toronto policies.
Key Responsibilities: Provide autonomous care for stable medicine patients
Assess needs and develop individualized care plans
Document assessments, observations, and care provision




Coordinate transitions and communicate patient care activities
Recognize instability and consult Registered Nurses promptly
Requirements: Practical Nursing Diploma successfully completed
Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Current BLS/CPR certificate
Coronary Care I or equivalent required or in progress
Recent acute inpatient medicine clinical experience required
Bring clinical competence, critical thinking, and collaborative communication to patient-centred medicine nursing at St. Joseph's HealthCentre.
