Support Toronto jobseekers with career counselling and digital job search as an Employment Consultant at WoodGreen, with limited hybrid eligibility.
This contract role serves clients through Integrated Employment Services in Toronto. You will manage jobseeker caseloads, complete needs assessments, develop employment action plans, and support sustainable employment. The work includes individualized appointments, group activities, employer engagement, and retention support.
Key Responsibilities: Build rapport and motivate clients throughout their employment journeys
Administer Ontario’s Common Assessment Tool and complete intake
Develop resumes, cover letters, applications, and interview preparation
Engage employers and advocate for clients’ employment opportunities




Complete documentation, referrals, and database data entry
Requirements: Degree or diploma in social work, social services, or related field
Career counselling experience or training
Experience leading group workshops or activities
Knowledge of labour markets and vulnerable populations
Robust communication, organization, time management, and computer literacy
Bring compassionate counselling, employer engagement, and organized case management skills to WoodGreen’s Toronto employment services team.
