This permanent Packaging position supports Nortera, producer of Arctic Gardens and Del Monte brands. The cold storage forklift operator moves frozen vegetable boxes to appropriate locations under the foreman’s direction. The work requires forklift driving experience, procedure compliance, communication, and attention to workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities: Supply production lines with required raw vegetables
Follow schedules and deliver vegetables to correct locations
Communicate with mixer operators and stock control attendants
Open vegetable boxes and apply rubber bands
Keep storage spaces clean and secure
Requirements: Experience driving a forklift
Ability to follow established procedures with low error margins
Ability to work under pressure
Concern for workplace health and safety
Ability to work at minus 20 degrees
