Registered Pharmacy Technicians can apply prescription accuracy, narcotic reconciliation, and compliance expertise at Central Pharmacy Services in Burnaby. Work full time in a high-tech central fill environment.
This newly created RPhT position supports Central Pharmacy Services, a Loblaw and Shoppers Drug Mart division. You will process prescriptions accurately and safely while helping Pharmacists focus on clinical care. The work includes high-volume filling, regulated technical responsibilities, and patient privacy.
Key Responsibilities: Check prepared medications, prescriptions, compliance packages, and products
Complete appropriate corrections when errors are identified
Count and reconcile narcotic and controlled medications
Check products efficiently to maintain scheduled delivery routes




Protect patient privacy according to applicable regulations
Requirements: Registered Pharmacy Technician license in positive standing
Liability insurance to legally practise as an RPhT
At least one year of continuous pharmacy experience
High-volume filling experience preferred; PacMed or PacVision experience advantageous
Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and attention-to-detail skills
