Position Summary
We are looking for an organized and hands‑on Shipper to join our Shipping team. We are currently hiring for both the day shift and afternoon shift, with a preference for candidates who are flexible and able to work either shift as operational needs change.

This role is responsible for packing and preparing customer orders, completing domestic and international shipping documentation, loading and unloading shipments, and moving products safely throughout the plant. The ideal candidate has shipping experience, strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Pack and prepare parts for shipment according to customer requirements.

Create shipping labels and prepare domestic and international shipping documentation.

Wrap and package parts using appropriate materials and techniques.

Load and unload shipments safely.

Move products safely within the plant and between buildings.

Handle incoming and outgoing parts carefully to prevent damage or injury.

Operate a forklift as required.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.

Support other work centres when required.

Qualifications & Skills

Valid forklift certification is required.

Previous shipping, warehouse, or manufacturing experience.

Knowledge of ASTM packaging standards ,



packing materials, and appropriate packaging techniques is required.

Ability to reliably work the assigned day or afternoon shift.

Good understanding of shipping procedures and documentation.

Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.

Strong numeracy and accuracy with numbers and written information.

Excellent attention to detail and a proactive work style.

Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Commitment to quality and safety.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Preferred Attributes

Flexibility to work either the day or afternoon shift based on operational needs.

Experience preparing domestic and international shipments.

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

Experience handling precision parts or products requiring careful packaging.

Familiarity with shipping systems, labels, and documentation.

Schedule & Pay Details

Shift: Day shift (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM) or Afternoon shift (2:00 PM to 10:00 PM). Flexibility to work either shift is strongly preferred.

Location: Port Coquitlam, BC

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, plus afternoon shift premium when applicable

Job Type: Full‑Time, Permanent
