We are currently seeking temporary Labourers to support various departments within an active mining environment. This is a hands-on role involving a variety of general labour duties, clean-up, and assistance with daily site operations. Successful candidates must be physically fit, safety-conscious, adaptable, and willing to assist wherever required.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform general labour duties and clean-up across various departments and work areas.
- Assist site personnel with daily operational tasks as required.
- Operate skid steers and other small auxiliary equipment, as qualified and authorized.
- Use hand tools and assist with basic equipment handling and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Work around large mobile equipment, including haul trucks and dozers, while maintaining robust situational awareness.
- Follow all site safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and site personnel, including using two-way radios as required.
- Work independently or as part of a team during day or night shifts.
- Perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout 12-hour shifts.
- Complete all assigned duties safely, efficiently, and in accordance with site requirements.

Position Requirements
- Must be physically fit and capable of performing repetitive manual labour, lifting, bending, and working on your feet for extended periods.
- Valid,



in-person Confined Space training/certification is required.
- Valid, in-person Fall Protection training/certification is required.
- Experience operating a skid steer or other small auxiliary equipment is considered an asset.
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand tools.
- Strong safety awareness and the ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a quick-paced mining environment.
- Comfortable working rotating day and night shifts.
- Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions for extended periods.
- Ability to drive in designated site areas and follow all site traffic rules; additional training may be provided where applicable.
- Previous mining, industrial, or camp experience is considered an asset.
- Must hold a valid BC driver's licence.
- Must have reliable transportation to Fort St. James, Vanderhoof, or Prince George.
- Must be able to pass all required pre-employment screening, including drug and alcohol testing.

Job Type: Fixed term contract Pay: $27.50 per hour
