Role Description: The Social Media Marketing Intern will support the online presence of Psychotherapy with Priya by planning, creating, and publishing content across social media platforms. This is a remote part-time position, involving close collaboration with the practitioner to align messaging with therapeutic values and services. Day-to-day tasks include drafting posts, designing easy visuals, scheduling content, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments or inquiries in a professional and supportive manner.

The intern will assist in developing basic digital marketing campaigns,



tracking performance metrics, and adjusting strategies based on data and feedback. The role may also involve researching mental health topics, maintaining brand consistency, and ensuring all content is respectful, inclusive, and aligned with ethical standards in mental health communication.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing, with an ability to support brand visibility and engagement.
- Experience or interest in Social Media Content Creation and Marketing, including planning and producing platform-appropriate posts.
- Strong Communication skills, with clear, empathetic, and professional writing tailored to sensitive mental health topics.
- Basic understanding of mental health or wellness fields, or willingness to learn and follow guidelines for ethical and inclusive messaging.
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed studies in Marketing, Communications, Psychology, or a related field is an asset.
- Ability to manage time effectively and collaborate with a small practice environment.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn) and basic analytics tools is beneficial.
