Support perioperative patient care at Toronto Western Hospital as a Perioperative Room Attendant, using transport and equipment-handling skills. This is permanent full time work.
UHN is seeking one Perioperative Room Attendant for its PACU department. Reporting to the Manager, you will support Perioperative Services through patient assistance, supply stocking, transportation, and environmental maintenance. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 1600 to 0000, for 37.5 hours weekly.
Key Responsibilities: Stock supplies supporting Perioperative Services operations
Assist patients directly within assigned responsibilities
Transport patients and materials as required
Maintain environmental support within perioperative work settings
Perform cross-functional duties assigned during shifts
Requirements: Completion of Grade XI or recognized equivalent
One year of related patient care experience
English speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension ability
Knowledge of WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety legislation
Ability to maintain operating room equipment and instruments
Bring patient assistance, transport, and perioperative equipment skills to UHN’s Toronto Western Hospital PACU department.
