Provide resident care as a part time Health Care Aide at AgeCare Dawson in Chestermere, using secure transfers and basic care skills.
Working under a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will collaborate with the care team to support residents’ comfort, well-being, and daily movement. This role includes personal care, feeding assistance, routine treatments, and transportation throughout the facility. AgeCare provides care within supportive communities guided by trust, quality, respect, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities: Bat​​he, shower, and wash residents following care procedures
Assist transfers using lifts, transfer belts, and protective equipment
Feed residents according to their care plans
Provide routine treatments under Staff Nurse direction
Accompany residents to meals, therapy, and activities
Requirements: Recognized PCA or HCA 2002 certificate course completion
Active registration with CLHA
Fluent English communication, orally and in writing
One year continuing care experience preferred
Post-secondary education is an asset
