Provide hemodialysis nursing care with William Osler Health System using acute care experience, vascular access knowledge, and patient-focused practice.
This Registered Nurse position supports patients in Osler's hemodialysis unit within an inter-qualified health care team. The RN follows Osler expectations, College of Nurses standards, and legislative requirements. Care includes assessment, treatment monitoring, emergency response, health teaching, and discharge instructions.
Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
Provide compassionate, culturally responsive, patient-centred care
Monitor patients during and after hemodialysis procedures
Recognize health changes and respond to emergencies
Teach patients and families,



including discharge instructions
Requirements: Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration in good standing
Two years acute care experience within the last five years
One year current or recent hemodialysis experience
Nephrology certificate or enrollment, completed within eighteen months
Vascular access modules and current BCLS required
Bring hemodialysis expertise, clinical judgment, and compassionate patient teaching to Registered Nurse practice at William Osler Health System.
