Key Responsibilities: Prepare nutritionally balanced lunch menus using established practices
Cook and assemble meals, breakfast, and snack items
Maintain inventory, order supplies, and verify deliveries
Rotate stock and maintain clean, orderly equipment
Review Feeding Futures costs against allocated budgets
Requirements: Six months’ experience working with children
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Robust time management skills
Food Safe certificate considered an asset
Basic first aid knowledge considered an asset
Support student meals at Cortes Island School through cooking, food safety, inventory control, and organized daily service.
