Plan therapeutic recreation programs for long term care residents as an Activation Worker, supporting quality of life through resident centred activities.
Under the Activation Manager, this worker plans and conducts daily activation, recreational, and social programs in an LTC Home. The work reflects Yee Hong’s resident centred approach and supports residents’ quality of life. Full time, part time, and casual schedules are available across days, evenings, and nights.
Key Responsibilities: Plan daily activation programs for long term care residents
Conduct recreational and social programs in the LTC Home
Develop meaningful programs within a tight budget
Support residents and the team positively and efficiently
Requirements:



Diploma in recreation, leisure studies, therapeutic recreation, or kinesiology
Activation or therapeutic recreation facilitation experience, preferably with geriatric populations
Current CPR and Food Handler Safety Certificates
English and Chinese communication ability
Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Screen and medical clearance certificate
Bring creativity, customer service, and therapeutic recreation skills to resident centred programming with Yee Hong in long term care.
