Lead operational risk and controls for Canada Life’s Wealth & Advice business as a temporary full-time Associate Manager. Prepare reporting and guide control improvements.
This fixed-term Associate Manager reports to the Director, Risk, Governance, & Controls. You will prepare quarterly risk and compliance materials, assess controls, and support risk programs across Wealth & Advice and subsidiaries. The work includes management collaboration, internal control testing, process mapping, and operational risk monitoring.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare quarterly risk and compliance reporting materials
Facilitate management discussions about risk and compliance reporting
Identify, assess, document, and test internal controls




Analyze risk trends and provide management insights
Support remediation action plans and monitor completion
Requirements: Three-plus years in financial services risk or controls
Experience in internal audit, risk advisory, or risk reporting
Risk, accounting, or internal audit designation preferred
Knowledge of wealth management regulations considered an asset
Robust organization, communication, and stakeholder skills
Apply operational risk, control testing, and reporting expertise to support Canada Life’s Wealth & Advice business.
