This temporary Educational Assistant position provides three hours daily on student days. Working under teacher direction, you will support intensive needs, high behavioral needs, life skills, academic programming, and student transitions. The assignment ends June 25, 2027.
Key Responsibilities: Support students with diverse and high behavioral needs
Prepare student-based life skills and academic programming
Implement student-specific behavior and safety plans
Supervise intensive need students and small groups
Attend to hygiene, medical needs, lifting, and transportation
Requirements: Minimum Grade 12 diploma recognized by the Board
Valid driver's license and transportation capability
Ability to lift specified weights safely
Versatile, adaptable, and collaborative approach
School software knowledge; educational assistant training considered an asset
