AgeCare seeks a Health Care Aide in Calgary, Alberta, providing resident care and transfers part time under Staff Nurse supervision.
This Health Care Aide supports the care team at AgeCare McKenzie Towne. The position delivers basic care, services, and resident assistance according to individual needs, care plans, knowledge, skills, and competency. Protected procedures guide daily work.
Key Responsibilities: Bath, shower, and wash residents following care procedures
Transfer residents using ceiling lifts, mechanical lifts, and belts
Feed residents according to documented dietary care plans
Provide routine treatments under Staff Nurse direction
Accompany residents to dining, therapy, and recreation activities
Requirements: Recognized Personal Care Aide or equivalent education certificate
Active College registration in Alberta
Fluent English communication, orally and in writing
One year continuing care experience preferred
Post-secondary education considered an asset
Support AgeCare residents with safe transfers, personal care, feeding assistance, and compassionate daily services in Calgary.
