Support business students through accounting and business mathematics tutoring at Selkirk College, in person or virtually during Fall 2026. Help learners clarify concepts, solve problems, and achieve course outcomes.
The School of Business seeks a tutor for one-on-one and group tutorials. You will support Business Mathematics, Management Accounting 1 and 2, Financial Accounting, and other Business courses. The casual assignment runs approximately November 1 through December 18, 2026, for up to 16 hours weekly.
Key Responsibilities: Aid students in achieving required course outcomes
Use guiding questions to develop critical thinking
Provide constructive, meaningful feedback to students
Coordinate teaching and learning with instructors
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, preferably Accounting
Ability to tutor introductory business mathematics
Ability to tutor introductory and advanced accounting
Solid organizational and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
