Support residents through personalized dementia care at St. Therese Villa, using direct personal care and health support skills. This temporary part-time position serves Daily Assisted Living East.
As a Health Care Aide, you will provide care across the lifespan under nursing-team supervision. You will follow documented care plans, assist daily living activities, and support residents’ physical, emotional, psychosocial, and behavioural well-being. The position requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities: Provide direct personal care and health support services
Assist clients with activities of daily living
Monitor and report changes in health status
Recognize behaviour, responsiveness, participation,



and distress changes
Promote comfort, dignity, engagement, safety, and continuity
Requirements: Valid CLHA practice permit before commencing employment
At least six months’ long-term care experience
Understanding of chronic conditions and daily living support
Robust interpersonal and communication skills
Empathy, patience, professionalism, and accountability
Bring compassionate personal care, observation, and teamwork to residents receiving supportive living and specialized dementia care.
