Manage Canadian and American payroll at Solotech while applying payroll software expertise and benefits administration skills within a Human Resources team.
Reporting to the Director of Payroll and HRIS, the Senior Payroll and Benefits Technician supports full-cycle payroll processing. The position covers employee benefits, HR policies, HRIS data integrity, and daily employee service. It also supports year-end activities and HR development projects.
Key Responsibilities: Process Canadian and American bi-weekly payroll
Maintain data integrity across Kronos, R2, and Dynamics 365
Manage group insurance memberships, terminations, and modifications
Validate hires, terminations, and employee status changes
Support employees, internal partners, and HRIS users
Requirements: Qualified or college diploma in administration, accounting, or relevant training
FPC or CPP certification
Five to seven years of payroll processing experience
Proficiency with payroll software, including VIP from DLGL
Knowledge of Canadian laws and labor standards
Bring payroll processing, benefits administration, data integrity, and confidential employee service expertise to Solotech's Human Resources team.
