Protect retail assets with Securiguard as an Asset Protection Security Guard using surveillance and robust situational awareness. Work across Niagara Falls and/or St. Catharines sites.
This customer-focused security role requires at least one year of experience in retail, government, healthcare, or respite shelters. You will identify theft, fraud, and security breaches while supporting a safe environment for staff and customers. The position emphasizes observation, communication, reporting, and lawful enforcement.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine surveillance to identify and prevent security breaches
Patrol premises and interact with customers and employees
Investigate suspicious activities and review CCTV footage




Prepare professional daily and incident security reports
De-escalate conflicts and conduct sanctioned lawful arrests
Requirements: Valid Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR
At least one year of relevant security experience
Strong written, verbal, observational, and situational awareness skills
Knowledge of TPA, Canada Criminal Code, and 494(c)
Ability to stand or patrol for up to 12 hours
Bring retail loss prevention, surveillance, reporting, and de-escalation skills to Securiguard’s Niagara-area security operations.
