Apply environmental, health and safety expertise from Richardson International’s Winnipeg office while supporting facilities across an assigned Canadian region.
The Regional EH&S; Specialist advises facility leaders and helps maintain regulatory compliance and corporate standards. This position develops programs, interprets legislation, delivers training, and investigates incidents across multiple locations. It also supports emergency preparedness, audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities: Advise facility leadership on environmental, health, and safety requirements
Interpret regulations and monitor legislative changes
Develop and continuously improve EH&S; programs and procedures
Deliver training to employees and leaders across locations
Conduct investigations, audits, inspections, and corrective actions
Requirements: Diploma or certificate in Occupational Health and Safety strongly recommended
One to two years’ occupational, environmental, health, or safety experience
Knowledge of applicable workplace health and safety regulations
Robust written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel within Canada
Support Richardson International facilities through regulatory interpretation, EH&S; programs, training, investigations, and regional safety leadership.
