Operate telehandlers and skid steers for Traine Construction & Development in Whitby, supporting protected material movement across an active construction site.
This full-time Equipment Operator reports to the Site Superintendent and supports a new wood-frame multi-family community. The work includes equipment operation, delivery coordination, material placement, site organization, equipment care, and construction-team support. Previous construction equipment experience is an asset, preferably in multi-family residential or commercial construction.
Key Responsibilities: Operate telehandlers, zoom booms, skid steers, and site equipment
Load, unload, move, and place materials, tools, and equipment
Accept deliveries and verify materials against shipping documentation




Coordinate material movement with trades, drivers, and site personnel
Inspect, clean, lubricate, and report equipment defects
Requirements: Telehandler and skid steer operating experience
Preferred certifications, obtained within the probationary period
Valid driver's licence and high school diploma or equivalent
Understanding of lifting, handling, and construction-site safety
Ability to lift materials weighing up to 75 pounds
Bring responsible equipment operation, delivery coordination, and safety-focused site support to Traine's Whitby construction project.
