The Hotel Financial Controller leads finance and accounting for Hyatt Place Toronto/Mississauga Centre and Luxe Convention Centre. This experienced position requires general ledger expertise, month-end closing, reconciliations, and hospitality knowledge. You will work with ownership, the General Manager, department heads, and external accounting partners.
Key Responsibilities: Lead property finance and accounting operations
Oversee monthly closing, reconciliations, accruals, and reporting
Review external bookkeeping, accounting, and tax services
Reconcile revenue across hotel systems and bank accounts




Prepare budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and performance analysis
Requirements: Bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent relevant experience
Three to five years of progressive finance experience
Knowledge of general ledger, AP, AR, and payroll reconciliations
Experience with accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel
Hospitality finance, OPERA, CPA, or implementation experience preferred
