YORK CATHOLIC DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD seeks a temporary Lunchtime Supervisor under the School Principal’s direction. Monitor students indoors and outdoors, promote respectful interactions, and help maintain a safe, caring, positive, and friendly lunch environment. Experience with children is required.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise students indoors and outdoors during lunch breaks
Monitor behavior and encourage respect, kindness, and inclusivity
Report misconduct and atypical situations to school leadership
Support appropriate play and identify out-of-bounds areas
Assist with emergencies, training sessions, and staff meetings
Requirements: At least one month of experience
Experience working with children
Valuable communication skills and positive demeanor
Ability to monitor multiple activities
Ability to respect school confidentiality requirements
Bring attentive supervision, positive communication, and student-focused care to lunchtime operations at St. Patrick, Schomberg.
