This experienced Complex Care Support Worker role provides person-centred support for a young person with learning disabilities. You will work at home, during school transport, and in the community. Duties include daily living support, medication administration, and specialist complex care.
Key Responsibilities: Provide person-centred support at home and in the community
Support school transport arrangements and daily living
Deliver personal care and administer medication
Manage PEG, tracheostomy, ventilation, and oxygen care
Provide epilepsy management, suctioning, hoisting, and catheter care
Requirements: Experience supporting people with complex healthcare needs
Experience supporting people with learning disabilities
Essential driving ability for this role
Willingness to complete complex care training
Ability to work in a property with a dog
Use compassionate, reliable support skills while delivering complex care, medication administration, and daily living assistance in Pickering.
