As a Solutions Architect in Databricks Field Engineering, you will partner with account executives and technical customer leads. You will translate business needs into technology solutions, present data systems, and establish the Lakehouse architecture as a customer standard. The role spans data engineering, data science, and production delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Develop account strategies with Sales and essential partners
Present reference architectures and demo applications
Consult on big data and machine learning projects
Validate cloud and third-party application integrations
Promote Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow, and Koalas
Requirements
Seven-plus years in customer-facing presales, architecture, or consulting
Expertise in big data, warehousing, data science, or applications
Fluency in SQL and database technology
Debugging and development experience with Python, Scala, Java, or R
Willingness to travel up to 30 percent
Bring architecture, SQL, and customer advisory expertise to expand Databricks Lakehouse adoption across Western Canada.
