Fraser Health seeks an Occupational Therapist for its Occupational Therapy team. You will provide patient and family-centered care within acute care standards and College of Health and Care Professionals of BC requirements. The work includes assessment, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment planning, intervention, evaluation, consultation, and education.
Key Responsibilities: Assess physical, cognitive, and functional patient needs
Develop evidence-based, outcome-focused intervention strategies
Implement treatments and educate patients and caregivers




Coordinate interprofessional care planning and discharge communication
Evaluate interventions and document patient progress
Requirements: Current full registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC
Knowledge of occupational therapy theory and practice
Knowledge of standardized tests, measures, equipment, and techniques
Effective respectful verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Apply occupational therapy assessment, intervention, education, and collaboration skills within Fraser Health’s Surrey Memorial Hospital team.
