Health Shared Services is seeking a Maintenance Worker I for Facilities Maintenance & Engineering. This temporary position supports routine groundskeeping and facility maintenance at the hospital, corporate office, community health centers, and other patient care sites. Work may occur independently or with a small team.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain lawns, flowerbeds, trees, and shrubs
Remove snow and ice from site areas
Collect and dispose of garbage and debris
Spread salt and sand during winter conditions
Assist maintenance staff and tradespeople as needed
Requirements: Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent
Valid driver's licence
Groundskeeping or landscaping experience preferred
Experience operating skid steers, tractors, or mowers preferred
Trailer towing and cargo securement experience preferred
Apply groundskeeping, snow removal, and external maintenance skills across Health Shared Services sites in Red Deer.
