The role suits emerging and experienced coaches, with training provided according to experience and education. Coaches receive mentorship, practical learning, curriculum resources, and opportunities for progressive assignments across the player pathway.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver developmentally appropriate youth soccer training sessions
Create positive, safe, challenging, inclusive player environments
Support development through instruction, role modelling, feedback
Communicate with parents, players,



and colleagues professionally
Maintain attendance records and complete assigned evaluations
Requirements: Experience coaching, teaching, or leading youth
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate and receive growth-minded feedback
National coaching certification preferred, or equivalent
Availability for evenings, weekends, and local travel
Build coaching experience through Vancouver Whitecaps FC mentorship while delivering inclusive training and supporting youth player development in Okanagan.
