Provide resident care with AgeCare by following care plans, documenting observations, and supporting a safe environment for residents and staff.
As a Personal Support Worker, you will monitor care according to established plans and help identify resident needs. You will support bedside care, resident documentation, and infection prevention practices. The position also includes participating in education sessions, meetings, workshops, and directed staff onboarding.
Key Responsibilities: Provide care to residents according to established care plans
Observe residents and report findings to the immediate supervisor
Document resident care information as directed
Maintain a safe and secure setting for residents
Follow infection prevention and control policies
Requirements: Personal Support Worker Certificate or Diploma graduation
Meet Ministry of Training vocational standards
Meet National Association of Career Colleges standards
Know simple treatments and related bedside care techniques
Understand sanitation, cleaning, and geriatric resident needs
Bring resident care, bedside support, documentation, and infection prevention knowledge to AgeCare’s supportive communities across Ontario.
