Licensed Practical Nurses provide person-centered care at AgeCare Walden Heights in Calgary, using clinical assessments and medication administration. This regular full-time position supports residents and families.
Reporting to the Director of Care, the experienced LPN provides planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed nursing care. The work includes care plans, documentation, resident transfers, and inter-professional collaboration. Provincial standards and Resident Care policies guide daily practice.
Key Responsibilities: Provide direct resident care using a person-centered approach
Complete accurate clinical assessments and care documentation
Implement and evaluate care and service plans
Administer medications and treatments according to standards
Support resident move-ins, move-outs, and transfers
Requirements: Practical Nurse Diploma
Current provincial registration and membership in valuable standing
Three or more years of seniors’ health experience
Current CPR training
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Bring nursing leadership, documentation, and compassionate senior care skills to AgeCare Walden Heights residents and their families in Calgary.
