AECOM Buildings + Places Canada seeks an Intermediate Architectural Technologist for its integrated Kitchener team. You will assist technical development, construction detailing, and documentation across commercial, public safety, transportation, municipal, defense, and educational projects. The work includes coordination with internal disciplines, external sub-consultants, and specification writers.
Key Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive construction documentation across project delivery phases
Refine details for constructability, durability, and building science
Self-check documentation packages for technical accuracy




Coordinate drawings and specifications with AECOM teams
Support contract administration, RFIs, submittals, and change documentation
Requirements: High school completion plus four years’ experience or equivalency
Familiarity with Ontario and National Building Codes
Proficiency with Revit, BIM workflows, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
Robust building systems and construction detailing knowledge
Four to six years’ complex building experience preferred
