As a VESST I with Emergency Health Services, you will support EMS operations through fleet maintenance, inventory management, and equipment inspections. You will coordinate vendors, distribute supplies, and help maintain operational readiness across Alberta. The work combines healthcare knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and logistics expertise.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate vehicle movement to and from approved vendors
Inspect and repair power cots, power loads, and suction units
Clean, equip, and supply spare vehicles
Prioritize and schedule vehicle and equipment inspections




Support patient care and emergency response when required
Requirements: Non-restricted Alberta College of Paramedics registration in valuable standing
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
Valid or obtainable Class 4 Alberta Operator’s Licence
Five-year driver’s abstract with no more than six demerits
Ability to lift 105 pounds and work physically demanding shifts
Support ambulance readiness in Peace River through equipment inspection, fleet coordination, supply management, and patient care assistance.
