Industrial electrical expertise meets underground utility work with Nova Scotia Power in Sackville. Install, commission, maintain, and repair electrical plant across the transmission and distribution system.
As an Electrician (Industrial), you will report to the Underground Supervisor within Energy Delivery, Underground. The permanent, full time position requires troubleshooting electrical equipment, regulatory training, and travel throughout Nova Scotia. You will support planned and unplanned assignments, emergency restoration, and safe work practices.
Key Responsibilities: Install electrical underground plant across transmission and distribution systems
Commission, maintain, and repair underground electrical plant
Assist emergency and storm-related power restoration




Travel throughout the province and support other locations
Follow occupational health, safety, and environmental requirements
Requirements: Journeyman Industrial Electrician certification required
Minimum two years troubleshooting electrical equipment
Valid Nova Scotia Driver's License and two years driving experience
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull specified weights
Apply industrial electrical troubleshooting and underground utility experience to Nova Scotia Power’s transmission and distribution operations.
