Under administrator supervision and qualified input, Educational Assistant 2 staff assist students with diverse needs and abilities. The work includes classroom, small-group, and individual academic assistance, adapted programming, personal care, and communication supports. Participation in the swimming program is required.
Key Responsibilities: Support students with behavioural and learning challenges
Provide academic assistance across classroom and individual settings
Deliver adapted programming under teacher direction
Assist with personal care and toileting needs
Supervise and assist with the swimming program
Requirements: Ability to manage male hygiene and toileting issues
Ability to participate in the swimming program
Ability to support emotional, behavioural, and physical needs
Ability to use augmentative and alternative communication
Ability to lift and assist transitional movements
