Support play-based learning as an Assistant Educator in Bradford, working fully in-centre with children at St. Vincent de Paul and Marshview PS.
Upper Canada Child Care seeks Assistant Educators for existing vacancies in before and after school programs. This casual supply position requires variable hours and at least five assigned shifts monthly. You will apply early childhood education knowledge, support children’s daily care, and follow Ministry requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Engage children through positive, developmentally appropriate learning experiences
Assist with meals, toileting, diapering, and dressing
Communicate with parents about programs and children
Complete charts, logs, reports, and administrative tasks




Use Storypark for pedagogical documentation and program development
Requirements: Recent Vulnerable Sector Check
Health assessment and immunization record meeting legislation
Current CPR-C and Standard First Aid certification
Knowledge of children’s developmental needs
Ability to supervise children across wide-ranging indoor and outdoor settings
Bring play-based programming, child guidance, and family communication skills to Assistant Educator work with Upper Canada Child Care.
