Support play-based learning as an Assistant Educator at Upper Canada Child Care’s St. Cecilia CS. location in Alliston, working fully in-centre Monday-Friday.
This full time, 30-hour position supports developmentally appropriate programs and Ministry of Education requirements. You will apply early childhood education knowledge, communicate with families, and collaborate with team members, school personnel, and outside agencies to support children.
Key Responsibilities: Engage children and provide positive learning experiences
Assist with meals, toileting, diapering, and dressing
Communicate with parents about programs and children
Complete charts, daily logs, reports, and administration
Use Storypark for pedagogical documentation and development
Requirements: Recent Vulnerable Sector Check
Health assessment and immunization record
Current CPR-C and Standard First Aid certification
Knowledge of children’s developmental needs
Availability for six-hour shifts Monday-Friday
Bring play-based programming, family communication, and child development knowledge to Upper Canada Child Care in Alliston.
