Emergency Health Services – Alberta seeks a VESST I to support daily fleet maintenance and operational readiness. You will manage inventory, coordinate vehicle movement, inspect medical equipment, and engage approved vendors. The work supports ambulances, spare vehicles, and critical supplies across Alberta.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate vehicle repairs and movement to approved vendors
Inspect and repair power cots, power loads, and suction units
Keep spare vehicles clean, equipped, and supplied
Prioritize and schedule vehicle and equipment inspections




Support disaster responses and patient care when required
Requirements: Non-restricted Alberta College of Paramedics registration in positive standing
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
Valid or obtainable Class 4 Alberta Operator’s Licence
Five-year driver’s abstract with no more than six demerits
Ability to complete physical duties, travel, and stay overnight
Bring paramedicine, mechanical aptitude, and logistics skills to keep Emergency Health Services resources deployment-ready across Alberta.
