As a General Merchandise Department Manager in Training, you will oversee a specific department and develop associates through coaching. You will support sales, profitability, inventory, merchandising, customer service, and operational standards. The position also involves collaboration with store management and other department managers.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations within an assigned store department
Train associates in customer service, product knowledge, and merchandising
Maintain appropriate merchandise stocking, displays, and pricing
Monitor inventory and coordinate timely replenishment




Lead, coach, and motivate colleagues toward stronger productivity and engagement
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
Previous retail management experience, preferably departmental or specialty retail
Solid leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
Flexible availability, including nights and weekends
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
