Gordon Food Service seeks a Class 1 Local Delivery Driver for full-time night-shift coverage from Delta. The schedule is four ten-hour shifts, with floater coverage and start times between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. This position supports safe, accurate deliveries while following road regulations and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Cover local delivery shifts operating from Delta
Offload products correctly at customer locations
Record delivery information accurately
Accept payment for goods when required
Maintain operational vehicle safety during deliveries
Requirements: Valid Class 1 driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 80 pounds
Eligibility for bonding and transportation of dangerous goods certification
Excellent customer service skills and mechanical aptitude
Weekend and holiday availability with high school diploma
