Operate waste collection vehicles and serve Saint John customers as a Class 3 Driver/Picker with Miller Waste Systems. Monday to Friday starts begin early.
This permanent full-time position reports to the Route Supervisor at 397B City Road. You will collect recycling, garbage, paper, cardboard, and organics from residential and commercial customers. The work combines driving, picking, customer service, and transporting materials to approved facilities while following routes, schedules, policies, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities: Collect waste streams from residential and commercial customers
Provide reliable, high-quality customer service
Transport materials to transfer stations, compost facilities, or landfills
Follow collection and delivery schedules efficiently
Follow company, environmental, and municipal requirements
Requirements: Valid clean Class 3 or higher licence
Mandatory air brake endorsement
Previous driving experience
Secure working habits and safety protocol knowledge
Ability to push, pull, and repeatedly lift heavy bins
Bring safe driving, dependable service, and physical collection ability to Miller Waste Systems routes serving Saint John communities.
