Lead FedEx courier operations through solid communication, conflict resolution, and daily sort and delivery oversight. This is an interview position with a temporary assignment.
The Courier Team Lead assists management with daily sort, delivery, pickup, and applicable remote domicile or feeder operations. The assignment leads an assigned sector, models best practices, and mentors hourly employees. It requires coaching, training, prioritization, delegation, and knowledge of FedEx products and general operations.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily sort, delivery, and pickup activities
Lead assigned sectors using operational best practices
Mentor hourly employees through role model behaviour
Coach and train employees on the job
Prioritize and delegate during time-sensitive operations
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent
One year of current courier experience
Valid driver’s licence and good driving record
Ability to complete required training and certification
Ability to lift 70 pounds and maneuver 150-pound packages
Bring courier experience, leadership ability, and operational judgment to FedEx as a Courier Team Lead.
