This Electrical Technologist works with intermediate and senior engineers on building, transportation, water, wastewater, and pumping station projects. Responsibilities include electrical design, instrumentation and controls documentation, engineering calculations, cable sizing, lighting simulations, and technical reporting. The role also requires accurate construction documentation and adherence to project standards.
Key Responsibilities: Develop electrical power, distribution, lighting, controls, and low-voltage designs
Produce instrumentation and control drawings for infrastructure applications
Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports using Revit or AutoCAD
Support calculations, site visits,



inspections, and engineering assessments
Maintain documentation quality, schedule, budget, safety, and code compliance
Requirements: College Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field
Minimum four years’ electrical design experience in multidisciplinary environments
Advanced AutoCAD or AutoCAD 3D skills and construction documentation experience
Ability to interpret engineering notes and develop accurate design drawings
Valid Ontario G Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel
