The Department of Medicine and Division of Endocrinology seeks a physician trained in Internal Medicine. This specialized outpatient practice focuses on diabetes, metabolic conditions, and general internal medicine consultations. The position includes longitudinal patient management within multidisciplinary care.
Key Responsibilities: Assess general internal medicine and endocrine consultation referrals
Investigate and treat diabetes, including complex insulin cases
Manage common endocrine and metabolic disorders
Interpret laboratory investigations and diagnostic studies
Coordinate care,



document clinically, and follow patients
Requirements: Completed postgraduate specialty training in Internal Medicine
Eligibility for British Columbia Internal Medicine licensure
Mandatory Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage
Clinical experience assessing and managing patients with diabetes
Familiarity with insulin therapy and diabetes technologies
Practise diabetes, endocrine, and internal medicine care through consultation, treatment adjustment, communication, and longitudinal follow-up.
