Overview

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Store Attendant/Cashier to join our retail team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing sales transactions, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be organized, and have a passion for retail sales and customer engagement.

Bilingual abilities and experience with technology sales or product demos are highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to develop sales skills, enhance organizational abilities, and work in a dynamic retail environment.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales transactions accurately
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity
- Provide product demonstrations and explain features to customers when needed
- Upsell products and suggest additional items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are well-stocked
- Manage phone inquiries professionally, providing information and directing calls appropriately
- Assist with inventory management,



stock replenishment, and product organization
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing questions or concerns promptly

Requirements

- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Robust communication skills in English; bilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish) are a plus
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Ability to perform product demos and engage customers effectively
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
- Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Multilingual capabilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases
- Prior experience in technology sales or merchandising is beneficial but not required

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
