Provide direct personal care at Youville Home in St. Albert, supporting clients through daily living assistance and health-status monitoring.
As a Health Care Aide, you work under nursing supervision and within regulatory standards, legislation, and your scope of practice. You collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, follow documented care plans, and complete assigned or delegated tasks. Your care supports clients’ physical, emotional, psychosocial, and behavioural well-being.
Key Responsibilities: Assist clients with activities of daily living
Monitor and report changes in health status
Recognize distress, behavioural changes, and altered responsiveness
Support comfort, dignity, engagement, safety, and continuity of care
Participate in feedback, self-reflection, and learning opportunities
Requirements: Valid College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta practice permit
Registration with College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta
Continuing Care experience preferred
Connect Care experience preferred
Satisfactory Criminal Record Check before employment
