This entry-level Laboratory Technician C contract role requires basic laboratory experience and effective teamwork. You will also work independently on laboratory activities while following sample analysis methods, Standard Operating Procedures, and quality requirements. The anticipated contract end date is April 30, 2027, with possible extension.
Key Responsibilities: Perform sample weighing and basic laboratory support procedures
Wash glassware, clean workstations, and dispose of waste
Compile, verify, and validate accurate data records
Perform equipment quality control checks




Upload results using reporting software
Requirements: Technical diploma or degree from post-secondary education
At least one year of laboratory experience
Understanding of chemistry principles and laboratory chemicals
Ability to follow laboratory SOP documents and guidelines
Robust Excel, communication, organization, and time management skills
Apply laboratory experience, chemistry knowledge, data accuracy, and quality control skills within AGAT Laboratories’ Calgary geochemistry team.
