Apply chemistry expertise onsite as a Clinical Laboratory Assistant at Dynacare in Brampton, preparing samples and performing routine testing.
This contract full-time, 12-month position supports Dynacare’s Core lab team. You will prepare samples and reagents, perform simple non-interpretive tests, and maintain quality control. The work also includes equipment maintenance and following Ministry of Health guidelines.
Key Responsibilities: Label and identify samples before testing
Operate complex instruments following department procedures
Perform simple non-interpretive testing procedures
Enter results into the company database
Perform routine equipment maintenance and document troubleshooting
Requirements: Medical Laboratory Assistant Certification or approved laboratory assistant course
Health or Science diploma or degree
Excellent data entry skills
Solid English communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work shifts and stand continuously
Support critical laboratory workflows in Brampton through chemistry testing, quality control, accurate data entry, and equipment maintenance.
