Reporting to the Manager, Accounting Operations, the specialist advises internal departments, faculties, administration, and end-users. The approximately six-month assignment handles salary transfers, payment processing, position management, and information requests. You will help ensure university policies and procedures are understood and followed.
Key Responsibilities: Process retroactive salary transfers, reconciliations, payments, and journal entries
Prioritize ticket requests and complete them within required timelines
Provide advice about policies, procedures, and financial systems
Communicate deadlines, requirements,



and training to clients
Maintain productive relationships with auditors and stakeholders
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, BComm, Finance, or BMgt
Three to five years' financial operations experience in large organizations
Experience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
Proficiency with Excel, PeopleSoft, data warehousing, and query tools
Robust organization, judgment, discretion, and attention to detail
